Durango Noce Travertine Tumbled Collection
Tumbled travertine tile is a calcium-based stone that was formed deep inside hot springs. Water vapor escaping the stone as it hardened and cooled formed channels and pits in the stone that are still visible in the tile. These holes help to give travertine its characteristic look and finish. The holes can be filled with grout during the grouting process to help stabilize the stone, help keep it clean and give it a finished appearance, or left unfilled to provide a more natural look.
